OsX86 on MSI GX600 (Part 2: iDeneb 1.3-FAIL)

I was expecting a better match with iDeneb, but unfortunately it won’t boot. It stopped at “Waiting for root device” message, over and over. Probably, the problem is that there was no compatible driver for the sata controller for my laptop(see part 1 for the specs of my laptop). There was a patch for nForce, but mine isn’t, so it’ll be just a waste of time. Hopefully, the next release will come with more driver/kexts.

For now, I’m sticking with the iAtkos. I found a driver for the airport/wifi so I could lobby on public hotspots using my hackintosh.

I will continue to look up more flavors of OsX86 and will soon report on my results. Hopefully, my laptop won’t die on me anytime soon.

Dude, I was able to boot sucessfully using iDeneb 1.5.7. Sound and wifi is not working but downloading and testing drivers, I was able to make it work. Wifi is asa mode. They say that mac os does not natively support any intel wifi devices. so the substitute for this is to get a dongle.
